She is survived by: her husband James Naylor; her grandchildren, Robert Pate Jr., Edward Young of Des Moines, IA, Xavier Pate of Minneapolis, MN, Chantell (Earl) of Chicago, IL, Ebony Cunningham of Minneapolis, MN, Leonthia Pate of Norfolk, VA and Elizabeth Pate of Jacksonville, FL; her siblings-in-law, Charlene Washington of Fort Dodge, IA, Mahalia Gruess of Freeport, IL, Louise Bender of Laurel, MS and George Naylor of Sioux City, IA; and her nephew Arvel Windsor. She is also survived by her parents, 2 brothers and 4 sisters, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Glendale Cemetery.
