With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Faye Smith of Des Moines, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2024 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donna Faye Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Flisher and Goldie Flisher (Downey); her husband Zack Jr. Smith; and her siblings, Fern Allen, Lloyd Olson and Eugene Flisher.
She is survived by: her children, Goldie Hokanson (Alan), Zack Smith (Denise), Rod Smith, Deborah Miller and Christina Beach (Eric); and her siblings, Betty Fitzgerald and Donald Flisher. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
