With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diana Darland of Des Moines, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2024 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Diana shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Diana farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her parents, Husein Ahmetovic and Hasifa Ahmetovic; her husband Todd Darland; her children, Haris Malkic (Meleena) and Irma Malkic; her stepchildren, Jennifer Darland, Matt Darland and Lindsey Lowery (Joseph); her brother Rajce Ahmetovic (Samira); and her nieces, Sanela and Arnela Ahmetovic. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
