She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Brubaker and Geraldine Brubaker; her husband Lester Wacht; and her brother Paul "Kenny" Brubaker, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Bronsink and Keri Wacht; and her grandchildren, Ava Wright, Samuel Bronsink and Audrey Bronsink.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (4114 Allison Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310).
