She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Hunter and Thelma Hunter Bolden; her daughter Machelle Hunter (Shelly); and her granddaughter-in-law Jacqueline Johnson (Tashia). She is survived by: her husband Arnold C. Hubbard; her daughters, Janet Hubbard and DeArna Townsel; her siblings, Benjamin Bolden (Sonny) of Peoria, IL., Ruth Linear of Jacksonville, IL. and Thelma Bolden-Lewis of Columbia; her grandchildren, Justin Carr Sr. (Jacqueline Johnson), Jeri Lynn Carr, Jericca Townsel, Jerissa Hall (Cory) and ShanTai Rogers; and her great grandchildren, Jashanna Carr, JaTaya Carr, Justin Carr Jr., Justice Carr, Quintez Winfield, Jayla Carr, Jakora Hall, Jakyra Hall, Cory Hall Jr., Jalijah Stalling, Tai Chean Rogers, Tai Tam Rogers and Tai Lar Rogers.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kingdom Life Family Ministries (321 Euclid Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
