Daniel Lee Drees Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Lee Drees of Des Moines, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Terry. He is survived by: his siblings, Donna, Linda, Larry and David; his sons, Daniel Drees Jr. (Rachel), David Drees (Kerry) and Douglas Drees; his grandchildren, Emma, Abby, Elizabeth, Patricia, Luke and Addelinn; his great grandchildren, Eberlinn, Ada and Macallan; and his friend Kathie Lyman. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustin Catholic Church (545 42nd St, Olin, IA 52320).
Memorials may be given to Harmony Hospice Care, St. Augustin's Church, and the Dowling Scholarship Fund.
