With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dale Carter of Des Moines, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Carter and Margy Carter (Travis); and his siblings, Sharilynn Algreen and Gary Carter. He is survived by: his wife Linda Carter (Smith) of Des Moines; his sons, Chad Carter (Stacie) of Winterset and Jason Carter (Michelle) of Dexter; his grandchildren, Madi, Cade (Kenzi), Cael (Brianna), Miranda and Marli; his stepgrandchildren, Colt (Sarah), Cazlynn (Jacy), Josie (Chase) and Jaxon (Ava); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Isabella, Walker and Nevaeh; his brothers, Ron Carter (Karen) and Randy Carter (Lynn); and his siblings-in-law, Ron Algreen and Jolene Caldon.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dexter Cemetery (36977 Dexfield Rd, Dexter, IA 50070).
Memorials may be made to the family for a future designation.
