Charles Martin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Martin of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberta Martin (Huiatt) and Charles, Sr. Martin; his siblings, Christine Martin, Carla Gnagy, Cindy Martin, Kim Mullen, Tim Kirkpatrick and Kenny Kirkpatrick; and his son Josh Martin.
He is survived by: his wife La Vonne Martin (McClain); his daughters, Lyndsey Martin and Nia Martin; his sisters, Connie Lewis and Claudia Martin; his siblings-in-law, Chad and Shelly McClain; and his grandchildren, Anthony Flaten, Treston Flaten, Jacen Milligan, Linkyn Martin, Aryana Martin, Nova Palmer, Allyson Palmer and Max Palmer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Iles Grandview Park Chapel (3211 Hubbell Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
