He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Cordaro and Victoria "Vic" Cordaro (Amadeo); his brother Sam; his in-laws, George and Myrtle Cuckie; and his brother-in-law Robert Parsons.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Cuckie of Des Moines; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Hensch (Harold) of Humboldt, Nancy Gilson (Marty) of Hardy and Mary Holmberg (Joe) of Eagle Grove. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sharing Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the American Lung Association, First Tee of Central Iowa, or the Catholic Worker House.
