She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Belle Thomas and Roger Peeks; and also Roger Peeks. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Peeks, Warnell Ziegler (Angela), Gwendolyn Crawford, Donna Weber, Dwayne Ziegler, Alisa Sykes, Jeffrey Ziegler (Patrice) and Kimberly Ziegler-White (Rodney); and her siblings, Theodore Peeks, Thomas Peeks (Stephanie), Dr. Roger Peeks (Judy) and Richard Peeks (Marsha). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and her first cousin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Beginnings Full Gospel Family Church (555 E Euclid Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Beginnings Full Gospel Church (555 E Euclid Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
