He is survived by: his pet Chevy; his parents, Marci Whitaker of Clive and Matthew Whitaker of Washington, DC; his siblings, Alison Whitaker and Lincoln Whitaker of Clive; and his grandparents, Edward, Mary Whitaker of Ankeny, IA and Dawn Zieman of Postville, IA. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family requests any memorials be directed to Furry Friends Refuge of West Des Moines, or the National Math + Science Initiative.
