For Calvin is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Nesbitt and Elizabeth Nesbitt (Lawther); his brother Frank; and his friend Ruby Nesbitt. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Spencer; and his daughter Galya Nesbitt of Des Moines.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kyle AME Zion Church (907 15th St, Des Moines, IA 50314). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
