Bud Pontious Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2024, at the age of 86, Bud Pontious (Des Moines, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Pontious (Elsie) and Clara Pontious (Conley); his stepfather Clayton Butler; his grandson Jonathan Grenko; and his pet Suzi.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Pontious; his pet Nala; his children, Earmel Pontious (Shirley), Cindy Pontious and Deb Grenko (John); his grandchildren, Lisa (Gustavo), Joey (Sara), Ashley (Kirk), Maggie Jo (Cody), Katie and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Alexa, Bianca, Gionna, Diamonique, Drue, Sean, Natalie and Kaleah; and his great great grandchild AvaLynn.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Children's Cancer Connection or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
