He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carolyn, Richard Stevenson and Dale Smuck of Marshalltown; his aunt Anita Warne of Waukee; and his pet Elsie.

He is survived by: his parents, Mark Stone and Julie Stone (Smuck) of Oskaloosa; his wife Wren of Carlisle; his parents-in-law, Ruth Padgett of Oskaloosa and Rex Padgett (Shirley Carlson); his brother Jason Stone (KyLee); and his nieces and nephews, Blake of Oskaloosa and Cade of Montezuma. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
