He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Barnes and Agnes Barnes; his siblings, Peggy Lockridge, Melody Jones, Adel Sams and Sara Barnes; and his uncle John Moyer.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Heim; his children, Brian Heim (Sandy), Tim Heim (Sara), Steve Heim (Lynn), Billy Groomes and Joann Farlow; his grandchildren, Leila, Levi, Alayna, Connor and Colby; and his siblings, Judy Allen (Jerry) and Doug Barnes (Tammy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Billy.
