She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Piper and Gladys Piper (King); her spouse Leslie Erickson; her siblings, Faye Whitlatch (Russell), Mike Piper (Deloris) and Gary Piper; and her pet Cornflake.
She is survived by: her brother James Piper; her daughters, Erica Mull (Donald) and Jennifer Thompson (Jake); her grandchildren, Kameron, Dayln, Keagyn, Taytum, Brooke and Haleigh; and her great grandchildren, Dax, Slayde, Naminé, Ezra, Waya and Gus.
In remembrance of Betty, memorials may be made directly to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
