It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arvid A. Bloomburg Jr. of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvid, Sr. Bloomburg and Edna Bloomburg (Fish); his wife Nellouise Goff; his sisters, Virginia Powell, Patricia Sayles and Marilyn James; and his close friend Ann Wright.

He is survived by: his children, Sally Creger (Alex) of Johnston and Michael Bloomburg (Jean); and his grandchildren, Emily Croll (Brad), Christine Baker, Reid Baker (Alli), Andy Creger (Melissa), Aaron Creger (Katie), Adam Creger, Elizabeth and Katherine Bloomburg. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made out to the Hospice of the Midwest or to Westminster Presbyterian Church.
