He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Teisinger and Viola Teisinger (Oltrogge); and his brother Duane Teisinger. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Cheever (Al) of Waverly, Gregory Teisinger (Heather) of Atwater, MN and Elizabeth Sievers (Aaron) of Delano, MN; his grandchildren, Emily Cheever (Jon), Jared Cheever (Hannah), Elijah Cheever (Ally), Molly Cheever, Ian Carruthers (Sydney), Abby Teisinger, Tayva Carruthers, Deiken Carruthers, Paxton Teisinger, Mya, Tanner and Lydia Sievers; and his brother Steve Teisinger (Kathy) of Denver.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church-Maxfield (2286 250th St, Denver, IA 50622).
