We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2020, at the age of 81, Roger Ernest Thurm (Denver, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Thurm and Helen Thurm (Stumme); his son Jeffrey Thurm; his grandchildren, Nicholas Thurm and Erica Thurm; and his siblings, Delbert Thurm, LaVern Thurm (LaVonne), Jean Buenzow (Merlin) and Lois Boevers.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Lobeck; his children, Randy Thurm (Terrie) of Denver, Bruce Thurm (Lori) of Denver and Tracey Cahill (David) of Lake Havasu; his daughter-in-law Karen Thurm of Denver; his grandchildren, Megan Smith (Brandon) of Denver, Ryan Thurm (Anya) of Quincy, Trevor Thurm of Denver, Nathan Thurm (Rachel) of Madison, Brandon Thurm (Sarah) of Denver, Jeremy Thurm (Blaise) of Cedar Falls, Matthew Cahill (Ali) of San Francisco and Katlynn Cahill of Morocco; his sisters, Doris Hagenow (Larry) of Readlyn and Ruth Wittenburg (David) of Readlyn; and his brother-in-law Ronald Boevers of Cape Coral, Florida.. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.
