He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Buss and Dora Buss (Schroeder); his in-laws, Victor and Helen Bartels; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Fails and Duane Fails.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Bartels; his sons, Scott Buss (Julie) of Denver, IA and Jeff Buss (Katie) of Cottage Grove, MN; and his siblings, Mary Ann Fails, Viola Fails and James Buss (Shirley). He is also survived by four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Richard Buss, 78, of Denver, Iowa, died peacefully at home on Friday, March 22nd, 2024 surrounded by the love of close family and friends after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
