He is survived by : his wife Louanne Madsen of Denver; his children, Carolyn Hughes (David) of Waverly, Diane Antilla (Bill) of Hood River, Oregon and David Madsen of Ames; and his grandchildren, Dr. Tyler Hughes (Emma), Ashlyn Hughes, Alissa Antilla and Ollie Antilla.
