He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ackerman of Denver, Iowa; his children, Tammy Beeghly (Tully) of Conrad, Todd Ackerman (Lisa) of Cedar Falls, Teresa Krueger (Ted) of Johnston and Travis Ackerman (Jen) of Readlyn, Iowa; his sisters, Janet Huffman (Wendell) and MaryAnn McCambridge; his mother-in-law Alvina Koepke; and his brothers-in-law, Ronnie Koepke (Elaine) and Jodie Koepke. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
