She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Meinecke and Margaret Meinecke (Thompson); her husband Robert Louis Francis; her children, Robert Francis and Janet Simpson; her grandchildren, Christine Bennett and Marcus Cosby Jr.; her siblings, John Meinecke and Helen Cain; and her sister-in-law Mary Meinecke.

She is survived by : her children, David Francis (Connie) of Cedar Falls, Dennis Francis (Sandy) of Evansdale and Anita "Jean" Kozloski (Dave) of Fairbanks, AK; her children-in-law, DeeAnn Francis of Cedar Falls and John Simpson of O'Fallon, MO; and her siblings, Bill Meinecke (Judy) of Fairbank, Ed Meinecke of Cainsville, MO, Marjorie Parkhurst (Leland) of Cainsville, MO and Dixie Francis of Bethany, MO. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
