He is survived by: his mother Lori Briggs of Denver, IA; his brother Larry Briggs (Alyssa) of Cedar Rapids; his nieces, Ellie and Callie Briggs of Cedar Rapids; his uncles, Terry Briggs (Vicki) of Burt, Timothy Briggs (Linda) of Donna, TX and Dale Briggs of Burt; his aunt Connie Ann Lappe (Bob) of Algona; and his siblings, Celeste Ortiz, Celena Ortiz, Jesse Ortiz and Jessica Ortiz.
