It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Elizabeth Westendorf (Denver, Iowa), born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on May 26, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles M. Ager and Elizabeth Ager (Coy); her husband Stanley James Westendorf of Waverly; her brothers, Charles and David Ager; her grandson Kolton; and her siblings-in-law, Carl Lucas, Jerry Long, May Ager and Jean Ager.
She is survived by: her children, Calvin Westendorf (Jodee) of Austin, Texas, Carla Christensen (Roger) of Allison, Susan Harris (Don), Michael Westendorf (Sophie) of Columbia, Maryland, Eric Westendorf (Cheri) of Waverly and Justin Westendorf of Shell Rock; her grandchildren, Cody Westendorf, Nicole (Beau Aman), Jacob (Beth Christensen), Mikaila (Lance Westendorf), Rylee Westendorf (Echo) and Cody Harris; and her siblings, Dorothy Lucas of Strawberry Point, Anne Boerschel (Derril) of Shell Rock, Alma Long of Cedar Rapids, Beatrice Koontz (Rick) of Cedar Falls, Pastor Theodore Ager of Waterville and Bev Ager (Ohnstad). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Monday at the funeral Home from 5:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. Please respect the COVID 19 guidelines and use proper social distancing while at the funeral home.
