She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Nieman and Mabel Nieman (Sells); her children, Duane, Danny Scoles and Cheryl Hutchins; and her brothers, Ray and Gary Nieman.
She is survived by: her son Steve; her husband Ronald Scoles of Denver; her son Steven (Connie) of Denver; her sister Jane Allen of Des Moines; and her sister-in-law Leana Nieman of Waterloo. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
