She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Buls and Irene Buls (Homan); her husband Dean Buchholz; her daughter-in-law Mary Buchholz; her brother Arlon Buls; and her sister-in-law Malita Buls.
She is survived by: her husband Mervin Sassmann of Denver; her son Larry Buchholz of Cedar Falls; her granddaughters, Brittany Argotsinger (Cameron) of Atlanta and Heather Graf (Jason) of Wheaton; and her great grandchildren, Claire Argotsinger, Carson Graf and Aubrey Graf.
