He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Buls and Maria Buls (Malzahn); his former wife Arlene Buls (Kolpek); and his siblings, Lawrence Buls and Eva Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Buls; his children, Lori Klocke (Dennis) and Gary Buls; his granddaughter Denise Ramsey (Kirby); his great grandchild Sam Ramsey; and his sister Bernice Kappmeyer.
