It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Henry Platte of Denver, Iowa, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arlen Platte and Olga Platte (Moehling); and his brother-in-law Charles Meyer. He is survived by : his wife Mary Platte of Denver; his children, Lisa Cox (Dennis) of Denver and Rick Platte of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Krystal Corwin, Haleigh Vette and Dana Cox; his great grandchildren, Shelby Corwin, Kylie Corwin and Blaire Vette; and his siblings, Robert Platte (Zelda) of Denver and Mary Ann Meyer of Sumner.
