He is survived by: his wife Leonta of Denver; his children, Janet Kern (Jessy) of Denver, Jerry Elsamiller (Audrey) of Waverly, Daryl Elsamiller (Maureen) of Denver and Dean Elsamiller (Linda Hoth) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Jonathon Elsamiller (Rebecca), Justin Elsamiller (Rebecca), Zachary Kern, Jordan Elsamiller (Julie), Jeremiah Kern, Travis Elsamiller (Elizabeth), Emilie Drenkow (Dietrich), Amber Rader (Colton) and Gwyndolyn Jones (John); and his siblings, LaVonne Williams (John) of Ames, Mardell Hoeper (Eldon) of Story City, Karen Fritz (Allen) of Waterloo and Richard Elsamiller (Brenda) of Sumner.
