It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darwin Mauer of Denver, Iowa, who passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Mauer and Elizabeth Adams Mauer; his son-in-law Michael Everding; his siblings, Angie, Wilmer, Ole, Roman, Art, Orville, Dale, Dean, Danny, Howard and William Mauer; his wife Marlene; and his children, Bonnie Neuzil (Loren) of Decorah, Brian Mauer (Jenise) of Denver, Derwin Mauer (Julene) of Independence, Laurie Lumetta (Vince) of Cedar Falls, Nancy Conklin (Mark) of Texas and Tammy Everding of Fairbank. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to the family for later designation.
