We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Betty Bernice Porter of Denver, Iowa, born in Plainview, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christy Thomas and Lessie Thomas (Phipps); her husband Howard; her siblings, Helen Winter, Chris Jr. and Richard Thomas; and her granddaughter Valerie Diesburg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Edwards of Waverly, Patricia Ogden (Tony) of Waldport, Oregon and Linda Judas (Lyle) of Denver; her grandchildren, Daniel (Lisa), Brian (MegAnn), Christopher, Jeffrey Edwards, Boone (Ellie), Briton, Max Ogden (Machiko), Tom Diesburg (Lisa) and Kerri Hobson; and her sister Connie Dieken (Marlyn) of Mason City. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity United Methodist Church, Willow Winds Assisted Living or to Cedar Valley Hospice.
