With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvina Faye Koepke of Denver, Iowa, who passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Dunkelberger and Eva Dunkelberger (Mingle); her husband Glenn Koepke; her son-in-law Richard Ackerman; her great grandchild Megan Koepke; her grandson-in-law Marshall Swanson; and her siblings, Geroge Dunkleberger (Bea), Vera Palmer (Glen), Elizabeth Bristow (Roy), Ella Feller (Duane), Archie Dunkelberger (Joan) and Ralph Dunkelberger (Gloria).
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Koepke (Elaine) of Waverly, Kathy Ackerman and Jodie Koepke (Andrew Gray) of Denver; and her grandchildren, Mark Koepke (Jennifer), Rick Koepke, Tammi Swanson, Todd Ackerman, Teresa Kruger and Travis Ackerman (Jen). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St. Peter Lutheran Church or to the Denver Fire Department.
