She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Welch and Esther Welch (French); her former husband Gerald David Underwood; her daughter Kathy Bowers; her grandchildren, Roland Harper, Anthony Harper, Michael Harper, Jr. and Kimberly Jibben; her sister Sandy Mutchler; her nephew Ricky Turner; and her son-in-law David Mosena.
She is survived by: her children, Albert Henry Harper (Barb) of Fort Madison, Iowa, Diane Otten (Terry) of Kirksville, Missouri, Robert "Bob" Harper (Suzie) of Denmark, Iowa, Debra Scott of Denmark, Iowa, Daniel Harper (Crystal) of Fort Madison, Iowa, Michael Harper (Tina Albert) of Denmark, Iowa and Esther Lewis (Dale) of Marion, Iowa; and her siblings, Jim Turner of Indiana, Richard Turner of West Burlington, Iowa, Kaylynn Flinn and Terry Welch. She is also survived by 52 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
