He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Ahrenholtz and Sallie Ahrenholtz (Jedele); and his siblings, Lucille Ahrenholtz, Wesley Ahrenholtz (Virgene), Loretta Shepherd (Philip) and James Ahrenholtz.

He is survived by: his wife Delores Ahrenholtz of Denison; his children, Jeff Ahrenholtz (Karen) of Denison, Jan Clark (Brian) of Milford and Dean Ahrenholtz (Michelle) of Denison; his siblings, Leonard Ahrenholtz (Shirley) of Denison, Ruth Carstens (Gilbert) of Dow City, Martha Camden (Robert) of Cole Camp and Marie Jennings of Seattle, Washington; and his sister-in-law Karen Ahrenholtz of Denison. He is also survived by his family, his friends, his neighbors.
