Wallace D. Auen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wallace D. Auen in Denison, Iowa, who passed away on December 17, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Auen and Matilda Auen (Dreessen); his wife Eileen Auen; his son Michael Auen; and his siblings, Jack Auen, Arnold Auen, Richard Auen, Margaret Dreessen, Edna Brotherson and Emogene Hansman.
He is survived by: his children, Barb Nemitz of Denison, Connie Volkmann (Randy) of Denison, Patti Frazier (Edwin) of Denison, Sandy Yarnell (David) of Sergeant Bluff and Jim Auen (Rebekah) of Creston; and his brothers, Ivan Auen of Wall Lake and Herb Auen of Lake View. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
