He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Tripp and May Tripp (Eggleston); his son Nathan Tripp; his daughter-in-law Rousanne Tripp; and his great grandchildren, Daltyn Tripp and Cyrus Tripp.

He is survived by: his wife Roslyn "Dolly" Tripp of Denison; his daughter Roxie Neumann (Paul Schultz) of Kiron; his adoptive son Hank Myrice (Cindy) of Schaller; his grandchildren, Angie Tremblay (Nathan) of Kiron, Justin Neumann (Katie) of Lake View, Shane Neumann (Nichole) of Wall Lake, Jackie Tripp of Alton, Randi Tripp of Newell, Kristen Tripp of Stanton and Nathan Myrice of Gillette, Wyoming; and his brothers, Gerald Tripp (Charlotte) of Schaller and Ralph Tripp (Lucille Fitzhenry) of Schaller. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
