He was predeceased by: his parents, Wacille Bubke and Edyth Schulte; his in-laws, Nor-man and Marilyn Schoenfeld; and his siblings, Leon Bubke, Mike Bubke, Leroy Bubke, Steven Bubke, Barbara Lyman, David Schulte and Diane Schulte.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Bubke of Schleswig; his children, Kelly Wessel (Darren) of Schleswig, Kim Pe (John), Krista Riesselman (Joe) of Manilla and TJ Bubke of Schleswig; his grandchildren, Taylor, Daniel Ahlers, Katie Peters (Matt Onken), Johnathan, Wyatt, Calvin Riesselman, Bryli and Brenna Bubke; his great grandchild Kade Ahlers; his siblings, Sam Lee, Donnie Bubke, Tim Bubke (Lila), Roger Bubke (Vickie), Terry Schulte (LaVonne) and Marie Schulte; and his in-laws, Mary, Mitch Hansen and Gale Schoenfeld. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
