He was predeceased by: his son Jim; and his siblings, John Murphy, Leo Murphy, Joe Murphy, Rosalie Sennett, Catherine Gard and Geraldine Alcantar.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Murphy of Denison; and his daughters, Annette Gross, Richard Gross of Earling, Suzy King and Rob King of Council Bluffs. He is also survived by six grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
