He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Leo and Lois Anne Houston (Lenz); his brother John Patrick Houston; his brother-in-law Duane Wessel; and his nephews, Lance Maack and Cole Schneider.
He is survived by: his wife Kelli Houston of Denison; his children, Lexi Wallace (Aaron) of Early and Sean Houston (Shania Wunschel) of Dow City; his granddaughter Finnlee; his sisters, Colette Marsh, Barbara Houston (Steve Constance), Sally Quandt (Herb), Jane Carstensen (Rick) and Anne Power (Mike); his parents-in-law, Larry and Leila Maack; and his siblings-in-law, Russ Maack (Beth), Kristi Wessel, Royce "Louie" Maack and K'Lynn Harm (Craig). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
