He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Fake and Olive Fake (Hudson); his son David Simpson; and his sister Dianne Kidneigh. He is survived by: his wife Idamae Fake of Denison; and his children, Randi White of Paisley, Dani Fake of Denver, Robert Carmichael of Casper, Stephen Brandenburg (Sheila) of Memphis, Diane Winey (Keith) of Dallas Center and Debra Vosika (Scott) of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Denison or Gary Thies Mission Central.
