With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Ridgley of Denison, Iowa, who passed away on November 19, 2020 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Grimm and Helen Grimm (Schmidt); her husband Gail Ridgley; her siblings, Virgene Burright (Doug) and Robert Grimm (Arlene); her brothers-in-law, Don Ferry and Ed Ridgley (Martha); and also, Joe and Mildred Ridgley.
She is survived by: her children, Debra, Steven, Steve Ridgley of Carroll, Deb Chapman (Bob) of Manilla, Terisa Nelson of Bellevue, NE and Tim Ridgley (Shaloh) of Carroll; her grandchildren, Dennis Chapman (Kala), Sean Chapman (Autumn), Tami Link, Chris Chapman (Stephanie), Erik Chapman (Tamara), Doug Ridgley (Sarah), Stephanie Ahrenholtz (Justin), Derrie Vonnahme, Melissa Nelson (Mitchell Webster) and Jessica Nelson (Jeffrey Fischer); her great grandchildren, Brody, Jhett, Adley Jo, Jace, Jaylee, Redmond, Emirsann, Elliette, Erikah, Everest, Weston and Wade; her sister Jeannette Miller (Lyell); and her sisters-in-law, Carol Smith (Don) of Phoenix, AZ and Jean Ferry of Irwin.
Visitation with Covid guidelines will be held from 1 PM to 3 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.
