She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Akers and Loreann Akers (Heller); and her brothers, Thomas and Earl Akers. She is survived by: her husband Paul Moritz of Denison; her siblings, Kathryn Cooper (Devlyn) of Denison, Linda Stehr of Denison, Jody Pullen of Holstein, Clinton Akers (Robin) of Eagle Grove and Midgie Carstensen (Dean) of Norwalk, Iowa; and her nieces, Tammy Crouch (Emily) of Sioux City, Nikki Blume (Gerrad) of Castana and Megan Plagge of Denison. She is also survived by eight nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
