He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Quandt and LaRue Ella Quandt (Keller); his brother Ronald Quandt; his brother-in-law Tom Murphy; and his nephew Jim Murphy.
He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Spiegel (Rob Addy), Jarrod Quandt (Brittany), Justin Quandt (Kim), Nick Desy (Chelsie), Nate Desy (Rachel) and Harley Christiansen; his grandchildren, Reese Spiegel, Sydney Quandt, Lennox Quandt, Landon Quandt, Emma Gundrum, Frankie Gundrum, Jack Quandt, Treyton Fender, Brailyn Desy, Kyler Desy, Cadence Desy and Gracelynn Desy; his siblings, Maxine Murphy, Marge Miller (Dan) and Dick Quandt (Kathy); and his sister-in-law Eileen Quandt. He is also survived by nieces and nephew; and many other relatives and friends.
