With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Lawrence Slechta (Denison, Iowa), who passed away on November 15, 2023 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Orville Slechta, Jr.; his wife Denise Slechta; his sisters, Connie Gaa and Lois Murphy; his niece Ashlee Gaa; and his nephew Jesse Paul.
He is survived by: his mother Esther Slechta (Frazier) of Vail; his sons, RJ Slechta of Denison, Ryan Bigley of Oklahoma and Trent Mefford of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Ryatt and Remington; and his sister Gloria Paul of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
