He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Leona Helen Gorden (TenEyck); his wife Margie Gorden; and his sister Shirley Davis. He is survived by: his children, Patrick Gorden (Kelly) of Ames, Joe Gorden (Tara) of Dow City and Cindy Freese (Dave) of Carroll; his grandchildren, Allison Berktold (Laura), Samuel Gorden, Abigail Gorden (Keaton Rohrbaugh), Roger Freese (Jessica), Erica Gorden, Nathan Gorden, Isabelle Freese, Joshua Gorden, Loren Gorden, Lexi Ohl and Gabi Pauley; and his great grandchildren, Blakely Rae and Olivia Ray. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dow City-Arion Fire and Rescue.
