He is survived by: his wife Debbie Huisinga of Denison; his children, Tracey Kelso of Lake City, Robert Huisinga of Lake City, Christina Dammann Martin of Deloit and Jesse Huisinga of Ute; and his siblings, Pauline Tier of Des Moines, Robert Huisinga of Denison and Richard Huisinga of Arizona. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
