He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Bohlmann and Hedwig Bohlmann (Kortmann); his wife Clara Hansohn; his son-in-law Mark Johnson; and his siblings, Estella Rahn (Al), Ralph Bohlmann (Vernie), Victor Bohlmann (Vernette), Edwin Bohlmann (Lenora) and Leola Ault (Truman).
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Bohlmann Johnson of Denison, Kent Bohlmann of Denison and Blaine Bohlmann (Bonnie) of Denison. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Huebner Funeral Home (1437 Broadway, Denison, IA 51442). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1004 1st Ave S, Denison, IA 51442).
