We bid farewell to Mary A. Upton (Denison, Iowa), born in Salem, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 6, 2024 at the age of 89. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Heinold and Dorthea Heinold (Scott); her husband Robert Upton, Sr.; her son-in-law Dennis Bronkhorst; and her siblings, Louise, Bertie, Francis and Bob.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Upton (Sheila) of Council Bluffs, Roger Upton (Cheryl) of Manilla, Don Upton (Renee) of Council Bluffs, Robin Bronkhorst of Hawarden and Robert Upton (Jill) of Hawarden; and her brother Arthur Heinold (Nita) of Illinois. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren.
