He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Slater and Mary Slater (Mason); his granddaughter Oaklynn; and his brother Bradley. He is survived by: his children, Sandon Slater (Hollie) of Glenwood and Haylee Hinrichs (Brandon) of Ida Grove, IA; his grandchildren, Noah, Alicyn, Layton and Dawson; and his siblings, Cheryl Upton (Roger) of Manilla, IA, Sandy Schiltz of Denison, IA and Kenneth Slater of Denison, IA.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Loess Hills Funeral and Cremation Center - Glenwood (112 N Vine St, Glenwood, IA 51534).
